Bad info, I just purchased new iphone XS at Best Buy without sim or phone contract. When I installed my Cricket sim card from my old phone, it worked but the phone is now locked to Cricket. Still not unlocked by Cricket yet after 5 days of constant discussions with support.
I bought a new iphone XS at Best Buy with no sim card and no cell service contract, was told it will work with all providers. I removed the sim card (Cricket) from my old device, installed in my new phone and powered up, it worked immediately. About a month later I tried to switch service to Verizon who told me phone was compatible. Tried their sim card and doesn't work because Cricket locked my phone. Yes, MY PHONE, that I paid for in full. I have not been able to get Cricket to unlock my phone. I had to pay for another months service Or lose my number and still have a locked phone.

Ok so exactly 6 days ago I bought the iphone 5s. The guy at cricket said if have 1gb og 4g data. So here's the thing, i read the iPhones' box and it said it has 4g lte capabilities, but I can't get it i even asked him "So my iphone WILL get lte?" He said "yes, you'll get 1gb of lte", and yes there is lte where I live. I know the Galaxy s 4 does get 4g. I already contacted cricket but they won't answer me. Will I get 4g on the new cricket? I am positive my iphone can get 4g the back of the box says it supports CDMA, gsm, umts, and lte cellular technologies. ff782bc1db
