Download Code Yokai Watch 3

While the passwords and QR codes should work after the shut down, the codes they give for purchasing the various digital versions are technically DLC and I don't know if you would be able to redeem them anymore after Monday. It takes a couple of hours to play far enough to redeem them in all of the games.

Also, once you have redeemed the code on one save file and downloaded the DLC, the item can then be collected on any save file, and in some cases, other game versions. I know I can get the both the Red Cat and White Dog bonus items on both versions of Blasters now. I think the yokai watch 2 items work like that as well.

Also, are the codes tied to the account? That was the case with Yo-Kai Watch 2, which allowd you to get all three DLC items in a single game and could get the three Nyan DLC without trading. (It also allowed my friend to get his hands on the DLC by letting her put her cartridge in my 3DS)

so i'm playing yo-kai watch 2 (specifically bony spirits, 2.0, on my 2ds xl) and after finishing the jibanyan's secret quest i was just like "oh i should get jibanyan's other soultimates!". so i went to the bank to scan the qr code, but upon entering the scanning feature, an error occurred and the system had to restart.

edit: another thing i realized i should probably add: it's not the game card itself, if that could effect anything. on my old 2ds (that's now broken), qr code scanning worked fine and i had nyaight and was trying to get jibakoma (side note: jibakoma is very hard to befriend). the game wasn't in when i broke my 2ds so it wasn't damaged itself.

I've been interested in the Yo-Kai watch series, but never really got into it. Since the 3ds eshop was closing and the prices for Yo-Kai Watch is massively expensive in Canada, I decided to get Yo-Kai Watch 1, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters and Yo-Kai Watch 3. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to claim the download codes in time. Thankfully, Nintendo extended the time and so today I rushed through the game so I could claim both.

Here's my question, I did manage to use the code for Yo-Kai Watch 2 and 3, but I tried to play through the game quickly so I could access the post office. If possible, I'd like to replay from the beginning and do more exploring. I am only on chapter 2, so I'm just wondering if:

If I start a new save file for the game, will I still be able to use the download codes even though the eshop is closing. I guess what I mean is, will I still be able to get the items even when Nintendo closes shop again?

Pretty much what the title says. I bought the yo Kai series and got the download codes. So I'm thinking great, I've got till the 27th, 5 PM PST to get these done. Gotta play up to chapter 2 (which I fucking hate that practice of making you play through a game just to download DLC), no biggie. Takes about 1-2 hours.
