Greetings,

The 2023 Annual School Census activity has started.

An Android app has been created by the authorities of EMIS HQ for this year’s census.

All staff (teaching/non-teaching) are to install the Android app on their Android smartphones.

Please note that this year’s census is in phases.

The first phase is for teaching and non-teaching staff of schools.

Please, staff are to use their 2022 EMIS credentials to log in to the app to complete their entries.

Ensure to select your EMIS role as “Teacher”.

All data must submitted in Live mode but not Training mode.

If a staff has forgotten his/her login details, they can enter their phone number and use the “Resend Password” feature to obtain their credentials via SMS.

Only staff who could not register during the 2022 EMIS are to Sign Up before filling out the census form, the rest are to Sign in and complete the form.

Greetings,

The challenges being faced by schools and their staff with respect to the EMIS data submission have been acknowledged and are actively being addressed by authorities. The system is now significantly up and running.

The submission numbers on our district's dashboard as of today, 26-Oct-2023, are not encouraging at all. Heads of schools are humbly entreated to complete the 2023 EMIS ASC for their schools as soon as possible and encourage their staff to complete theirs as well.

Remember, our staff are readily available to assist you with the challenges that can be resolved within our scope so do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

We are also visiting schools to offer help to enable you to complete and submit the census questionnaires as soon as possible.
