Artist bio
Mycah Miller is a CA-based queer poet, artist, and motorcyclist, and was a member of the winning team of the 2018 Southwest Shootout. In her non-writing time, she can be found knitting, working as a motorcycle safety instructor, talking about fish, or annoying her two cats. Her work has been featured online by Ink & Marrow, Gnashing Teeth, Vagabond City Lit, and more. Her most recent realization in poetry has been as an editor, something she has found new love for. Mycah Miller won a spot on the 2018 Legendary Collective Slam Team, which went on to win the 2018 Southwest Shootout, held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mycah was the recipient of both the James Phelan Literary Award and the Dorrit A. Sibley Scholarship for Excellence in Poetry in Spring of 2021 from San Jose State University.
