2026 · Effective date: August 2026
Google AdMob.
Summary: Names and birth dates you enter stay on your device only and are never sent to any server. The only external connection is Google AdMob for advertising.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
"Your Birthday" does not collect or transmit any of the following to our servers or any third party: names you enter, birth dates, saved lists, contents of files you import, or your email or phone number — the app never asks for them. There is no login, no user account, and no backend server.
Google AdMob.
2. Permissions
The app requests only one permission: INTERNET, used exclusively to load Google AdMob ads.
The app does not request or use any of the following: camera, location, contacts, microphone, or persistent storage permissions.
When importing a CSV or Excel file, the file is selected through the standard system picker, which does not require granting the app persistent access to device storage.
3. Where Your Data Is Processed
Entirely on your device. All calculations — Gregorian and Hijri ages, days remaining, comparisons — run inside the app on your device's processor, with no network connection involved.
4. Files You Import
When you select a CSV or Excel file, it is read in device memory only to extract names and dates. The file itself is never uploaded anywhere, no copy is retained, and its contents are not sent to any party.
5. Data Stored on Your Device
Using "Save List" stores the list in the app's local storage on your device. To delete it: use the Delete button inside "Saved Lists", or go to device Settings → Apps → Your Birthday → Clear data, or simply uninstall the app — all data is permanently removed with it.
Google: policies.google.com/privacy
6. Advertising and Third Parties
The app displays ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, device identifiers such as the Advertising ID and general technical device information may be sent to Google. Never sent to Google: names, birth dates, saved lists, or any content you enter. We set the maximum ad content rating to G (General audiences) and blocked sensitive categories, so no adult, dating, alcohol, or gambling ads appear. You can reset your Advertising ID in device Settings → Google → Ads.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Content is suitable for all ages and ads are restricted to the "General audiences" rating.
8. Retention and Deletion
We retain no data because we never receive any. Your data stays on your device until you delete it using the methods in Section 5. You do not need to contact us to request deletion — it is immediate and entirely in your control.
9. Security
Because data never leaves your device, it is protected by your operating system's own protections and is not exposed to network transmission risks. Connections to Google's ad servers use encryption.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when adding features or changing app behavior. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
