My Bib respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the My Bib mobile application handles information when you use the app.

My Bib does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to create citations.
Citation history, saved citations, and bibliography information may be stored locally on your device so you can access them later.
2. Internet Connectivity
Some features, such as automatically retrieving information about websites, books, journals, videos, and other sources, require an internet connection.
When these features are used, source information such as a URL, DOI, or ISBN may be sent to third-party services in order to retrieve citation metadata.
3. Third-Party Services
My Bib may communicate with third-party services to retrieve publicly available citation information. These services may process technical information according to their own privacy policies.
4. In-App Purchases
My Bib may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. My Bib does not directly collect or store your payment card information.
5. Data Sharing and Selling
My Bib does not sell your personal information.
We do not share personal information for advertising purposes.
6. Saved Data
Citation history, saved citations, and bibliography information may be stored on your device. You can remove saved information using the available delete or clear options in My Bib.
Deleting My Bib may also remove information stored locally by the app.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when My Bib's features or privacy practices change. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
