Privacy Policy — MyTravelMap

MyTravelMap ("the app") lets travelers mark the places they have visited on a map and share their travel map as an image. We do not operate any servers and the app does not require an account.

1. Information stored on your device

Your visited places, notes, profile name and photo, language and theme choices, and quiz progress are stored only on your own device. We never receive, see, or store this information anywhere else. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted from your device.

2. Advertising

The app displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use certain information to provide, personalize, and measure ads — such as your device's advertising ID, IP address (used at an approximate country/region level), and basic device information — in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.

3. Location

The app does not request GPS or location permissions and does not track your precise location.

4. Crash reports

If the app crashes, a technical crash log is saved on your device only. It is never transmitted automatically; you may choose to share it with us to help fix bugs.

5. Photos

If you add a profile photo, it is stored only on your device and is included only in map images that you yourself choose to export or share.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here and included in the app.
