1. Data Collection The "My Public IP" extension does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The extension functions solely to display your current network information to you within your browser.
2. External Services & APIs To provide its functionality, this extension connects to the following third-party services to retrieve data:
Public IP Address: Fetched via api.ipify.org.
Geolocation Data: Fetched via ipwho.is, ipapi.co, or freeipapi.com.
Flag Images: Fetched via flagcdn.com.
These requests are ephemeral and occur only when you open the extension or refresh the data. We do not store logs of these requests on any private servers.
3. Local IP Address This extension requests the system.network permission to detect your local (private) IP address. This information is displayed locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers or third parties.
4. User Consent By using this extension, you consent to the transient processing of your IP address by the third-party providers listed above for the sole purpose of displaying your location and network details.
