What is the CCAT?
Developed by Criteriacorp.com, the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a 15 minute, proctored exam, built to help employers measure a potential candidate’s or current employee’s ability to think critically. It also measures aptitude, ability to solve problems, and absorb information.
The CCAT is composed of 50 multiple-choice questions including categories such as math, logic and spatial reasoning. With 15 minutes to complete the test, you’ll have only 18 seconds on average, to complete each question.
Can You Use a Calculator on the CCAT?
No. Calculators are not permitted on the CCAT. As a supervised test, you will be monitored and restricted to scratch paper and writing material. Most questions can be solved without a calculator, usually with estimation and simple math tricks.
