A virtual piano keyboard is perfect when there isn't a real piano or a keyboard at home or when your piano or keyboard isn't next to a computer. The online piano keyboard simulates a real piano keyboard with 7 1/4 octaves of 88 keys (only five octaves for mobile devices), a sustain pedal, ABC or DoReMe letter notes representation, a Metronome, zoom-in, and a full-screen mode.

I made a looped track for my mobile project, and it sounds okay on monitors, but when I crank phone speakers to the maximum, I can hear crackling of the rhodes piano. I can't seem to find a way to fix this.

Once we plug in the mic and open the app, as we make noise, the app has meters which show us when the sound the Microphone is receiving is too loud for it to record properly (or too quiet for it to hear).

Use your computer keyboard or click the piano keys to play the piano. The keyboard's top row of letters corresponds to the white keys, and the row of numbers corresponds to the black keys. You can play multiple notes simultaneously.

Click "Hide note names" above the piano to hide the note names. Click "Mark" to mark notes on the piano. Play the marked notes by clicking the "Play" button (only visible after notes have been marked) or pressing the spacebar on your keyboard.

I just bought the keyboard Casio CT-S200 and I struggle very much to hear both my piano and my cell phone ( samsung 21) in my hearphones.I plug the micro-usb to usb-c to my cellphone so the notes are recognized easily in my simply piano app, but the music still plays out loud. If I plug my hearphones in the output/phones, I can hear the piano but no the music from my cell.I wish to hear them both in my hearphones. How can I do that?I bought a hub that has 2x usb, a usb-c and audio jack, but it doesn't recognize the sound from the piano.I also bought a y splitter for my 3.5mm so i can plug it into my hub, but the sound is distorted.

I would need a device that could accept the audio output from the PHONES/OUTPUT jack of the keyboard, as well as the audio output from your cell phone, which could then connect to your headphones. Do you know of this kind of device?

I went through your exact problem and I understand exactly what you're asking, you want to be able to hear the keyboard sound that you're playing and the sound from whatever instruction you're using on your cellphone at the same time. And you want to be able to easily control the volumes of both as you do this right? Here's what I do:

So yes, you can tune a piano using your phone. However, it takes years of experience tuning hundreds of pianos in order to be able to tune a piano to hold well over a reasonable amount of time. I hope this article has been helpful for you. You are welcome to send your questions which may appear in future articles and videos to Robert@LivingPianos.com.

It's not the app, it's the phone's hardware that is limiting you. Your phone has a mic and an analog-to-digital converter inside of it that picks up the sound and converts it to digital for whatever app to record. Because your phone is small and engineered to be of use to ordinary people and not audio engineers, those hardware components are not very good relative to professional recording standards.

No matter what app you use, it will be getting the same low quality input from the same hardware. So the solution is to get some kind of external hardware that is of better quality. There are audio interfaces for phones and computers and there are standalone recorders that would all work.

I recommend you begin your search by looking for a good lapel mic to start with. They plug in to your regular 1/8" jack, just like the earbuds with microphones in them, but are of much greater quality.

For about the same price you can go el-cheapo and try a small add-on microphone for your phone like this one: Olympus Noise Cancelling Microphone - I haven't tried this because I like to have a cord between my tablet and the microphone so I don't get rustling noises as I control the tablet.

Another option is to get one that can plug into the USB port. I have good success with one of those. I am using a tablet with a regular USB port so can't really address how well it would work on a phone. At the very least you would need an adapter that allows a full-size USB plug to go into your phone. Not all USB mics can work with phones, but here is a decent one that might work: USB Microphone with stand

In your question you mention that you are looking for the best quality. Obviously, the best answer would be to set up an actual mixer so you can have separate microphones for the piano and the singer. They are not all that expensive, and if you are serious about recording you may well decide it is worth it. To use a mixer you would want an adapter cable for the output that can plug in to the 1/8" microphone port on the phone, plus microphones and their associated cables. (To professionally mic a piano, you want the microphone to be inside. For a grand piano, I open the top then use a microphone stand to position the microphone about a foot above the sounding board near the center)

In summary, I would suggest you start with the lapel microphone first, then go from there. 1) you know for sure it will work with your phone. 2) they are easy to use, 3) the price is right, 4) they produce surprisingly good recordings.

In the final analysis, nothing beats getting a good recording in the first place, so step one is to find a decent microphone that suits you. But playback is also important, so step two is to get a good speaker system that enhances the sound.

Do text reminders for parents to check email for important information. Our school has begun to do this and it does give the heads-up to busy parents who are on their phones. When email and texting open rates are compared, texting wins.

In short: Texting is amazing for for last-minute saves, for practice videos and for same-day reminders. It definitely has its place for communication in a piano studio for quick questions and checking in on light topics. Texting is not for serious messages pertaining to business administration, payment or student performance. Texting is not recommended for serious issues or conversations.

Then we open our first piano studio and find ourselves running a business. I suspect most piano teachers (like me) have had much more professional training in music than business, finance or communication.

The iRig is a good option if you can secure it to the keyboard... I'd use velcro to insure you don't loose a connection and create a massive noise spike in a live situation. You might want and more rugged Audio/MIDI unit with more ports for various PA options and monitoring capability and a good Digital to Analog converter and headphone amp.

For pads, Sunrizer has a nice ethereal quality to it which layers beautifully with pianos. The preset browser is also excellent for quick switching. Also consider running AutoPad for an additional ambient layer.

Challenges which require you to visit some wacky landmarks are common place in Epic's battle royale, and the latest one is the Fortnite oversized phone, big piano, and giant dancing fish trophy locations. These are three abnormally large items that are permanently placed on the Fortnite map, so even before the Fortnite challenges go live we know exactly where we need to head. Here's all of the locations you need to visit to find the Fortnite oversized phone, big piano, and giant dancing fish trophy.

There's two oversized phones on the map; one is found north-west of Lazy Lagoon near where the river trickles off the map, and the other is on a hill west of Fatal Fields just beyond the snowy border.

Give me a game and I will write every "how to" I possibly can or die trying. When I'm not knee-deep in a game to write guides on, you'll find me hurtling round the track in F1, flinging balls on my phone in Pokemon Go, pretending to know what I'm doing in Football Manager, or clicking on heads in Valorant.

Connecting your keyboard and phone/tablet with MIDI is a quick, easy way to have perfect note recognition. Check to see if your keyboard has a MIDI or USB to Host connection on the back like these below.

For many beginners, the idea of being recorded is pretty scary. There are lots of advantages to recording piano on your phone, and even if you cringe at the idea of hearing your errors, it is worth doing it.

With most phones, this will be really easy to do. You can use your voice recording application. However, for a bit more detail and the option to edit and cut your piano recordings afterward, record into software such as GarageBand. This now comes free with Apple devices.

If you want to go into a bit more detail, and get higher quality recordings, you can buy microphones specifically designed for use with a phone. USB microphones can sometimes be used with an adapter. You can even buy a quality condenser microphone for your phone, and this may give enough quality for recordings that can be used in releases, or as demos. ff782bc1db
