My Self-Directed Learning Journey

Introduction

Currently, I am a Fifth Grade Science teacher in an extremely "technologically-savvy" school district. For reference, the school district I work at was one of the first, if not the first school districts in the RGV that provided their students individual devices (in 2012). Being that the school district is also an "Apple School District", becoming a certified Apple Teacher is extremely useful.

Professionally and educationally I have several goals. I plan to begin the process of obtaining an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction as soon as I am able to do so. Soon after that, I plan on becoming an administrator and moving up on the education ladder as I continuously gain more experience.
