My Diary: Private Journal Lock is a private diary and journaling app that helps users write diary entries, protect their diary with a PIN and Face ID or Touch ID, customize the writing experience with themes and fonts, track mood, draw inside entries, receive writing reminders, and use local writing assistance features.
Your privacy is important to us. Diary entries can be personal, and our goal is to keep your journaling experience private, safe, and under your control.
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
Diary entries, titles, notes, and journal text
Mood selections and emojis
Dates and calendar-related journal information

Drawing files created inside the App
Favorite entries or saved journal settings
PIN lock settings

This information is used to provide the App’s core features.
Your diary entries are stored locally on your device by default. We do not sell your private diary content.
The App allows you to protect your diary with a PIN. If your device supports it, you may also use Face ID or Touch ID to unlock the App.
Your biometric data is handled by Apple’s iOS system. We do not collect, store, or access your face, fingerprint, or biometric identifiers.
The biometric unlock feature is used only to help you unlock your private diary more conveniently.
The App may include a Smart Journal Assistant or writing assistant feature to provide writing prompts, reflection questions, title ideas, mood insights, gratitude prompts, or simple local writing suggestions.
This feature is designed to work locally inside the App.
Your diary text is not automatically sent to external AI services. The App does not require external AI APIs to provide local writing suggestions.
If we add optional online AI features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and clearly explain how text is processed before such features are used.
If you create drawings inside the App, those drawings may be saved locally in the App’s private storage.
We do not upload your drawings to our servers.
If future versions allow photo attachments, file import, cloud backup, or sharing, those features will only work when you choose to use them, and this Privacy Policy will be updated if required.
The App may allow you to enable daily writing reminders.
If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. These notifications are used only to remind you to write in your diary.
You can disable reminders at any time from the App settings or from your device notification settings.
The App may offer optional Premium subscription features, such as:

Unlocking premium themes
Unlocking decorative fonts
Unlimited writing assistance

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple’s own privacy practices and App Store policies.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple ID subscription settings.
The App may display ads, including rewarded ads, through third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob.
Rewarded ads are optional and may be used to unlock certain features, such as themes, fonts, or additional feature access.

Delete diary entries from inside the App
Delete drawings or attachments
Change or disable app lock settings
Enable or disable Face ID or Touch ID unlock

Manage ad tracking permissions from iPhone settings
Uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data from your device
If the App provides export or backup features in the future, you are responsible for protecting any exported files.
We use reasonable technical measures to help protect your information.
However, no app, device, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure and protecting your PIN.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in your country or region.

If you use the App outside the country where it was developed, your information may be processed in countries where Apple, advertising partners, or other service providers operate.
