Development of the facilities since its inception in 2016 has been a combined effort from all of the MAAA, VMAA and MWMAA. Funding, apart from these organisations, has also been secured by the club from a variety of local community funding sources, which we are are very fortunate to have access to (see the sponsors on the homepage).
The current facilities at the field include
3 modern ablution facilities with toilets, showers and hot and cold water, backed by a state of the art septic system
2 steel sun shelters for easy watching
a camping area
a weather station
a huge grassed N/S runway and provision for E/W
a small water area for float planes
a large agricultural shed for housing our equipment
3 ride on mowers
BBQ
storage shelves
sundry garden tools
4 water tanks
an above ground watering system for the runway
a container for general storage and to serve food
car park
drainage (it can be very wet at Mt Wallace!)
entrance road and gatepower
water bore
We also now own a portable used classroom which will eventually form the clubrooms, which is the last major piece of required infrastructure.
