Registration Opens January 5, 2026

Registration Details

This competition is for teams of three or four undergraduate students attending academic institutions located in the Midwest. Please register with your team of three to four students, as the competition will not create student teams. 

Following registration, student teams will receive an invitation to set up an account in Pitch, the platform we'll use for the competition. Each individual student must setup their account in Pitch.

Business librarians from students' institutions will be available to provide support for the use of Sage Business Cases and other resources for developing your case submission. 

Eligibility 

• Teams may consist of 3-4 people. 

• Team members should all be undergraduate students attending a Midwest college or university. 

• Midwest states include North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. 

Competition Timeline

• Registration opens: Monday, January 5 at 9:00 a.m. ET. 

• Registration closes: Friday, February 6 at 12:00 p.m. ET. 

• Case release: Saturday, February 7 at 9:00 a.m. ET.

• First round submissions due: Saturday, February 14 by 12 p.m. ET. 

• Finalists announced: Wednesday, February 18

• Live virtual final round: Saturday, February 21, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. ET.

Training Opportunities 

Optional Sage Business Resources training will be available to student teams and librarians following registration. These sessions will be held over Zoom and recorded for individuals who cannot attend live.
