My name is Matthew Wenger and I’m currently working at Tigo Energy as a Technical Support Engineer and living in San Jose, California. I'm a graduate from San Francisco State University with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I have found a passion for programming microcontrollers and designing printed circuit boards.
The reason why I obtained my degree in electrical engineering is that I have always been fascinated with technology and want to contribute to the rapidly growing industry. My goal is to work as an electrical engineer for a company with an innovative product that I’m passionate about.
As an engineer, my projects have been where I have learned the most about various relevant concepts. I wanted to highlight those projects in this portfolio.
Currently, as a Technical Support Engineer at Tigo I have accomplished a lot of professional growth. I have improved my troubleshooting skills by diagnosing issues based on electrical data. Also, I have developed better social skills by coordinating with customers to collaborate on a practical solution.
Furthermore, I will continue to work on personal projects for engineering. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, working out, and attending sporting events. My goal is to learn and grow as an engineer within an innovative company.
