Melody has been interested in art since she could hold a pencil. Her first full set of artwork involved a book of over 40 different types of dragons that all had outside-of-the-box features and abilities. She created these and many other artworks all while defending her supplies from her six younger brothers who lovingly offered “constructive” criticism. Due to this early interest, her family supported her through numerous art shows, lessons, classes, and projects.
Melody has always had an eye for interesting colors, color pallets, designs, and abstractions. She began college level work in high school and has completed many logos and designs for various organizations and groups. After high school she participated in the RIT portfolio workshop. She then completed an associates degree with a double major in fine arts and graphic arts in just one year with a GPA just shy of 4.0. While she loves all types of art and mediums, graphic design is what she consistently gravitates toward because she loves the versatility of digital media. Melody will be continuing her studies at SUNY Brockport in the fall of 2025.
