Band 2021

Manly Vale Public School, our Band Conductors and Band Committee wish you a warm welcome as you take your first steps to introducing your child to the MVPS Band Programme.

Usually we run a Band Information evening but this year to make sure we keep COVID Safe we would like to do things a little bit differently.

Below we have:

• Some short short videos introducing the instruments that are played in the band

• A video on how playing an instrument benefits your brain

• A video prepared by our Senior Band Conductor Ben Dickson

We also want to share with you our Information Booklet. We recommend you watch these videos and read the information booklet.

Additionally we will be running two Zoom based Q&A sessions with our Band Conductors Ben and Carlos. They will be run on:

At the bottom of this page you can complete a form to register your interest, select an info session and ask any questions of the band conductors you would like to cover in the info session. We are hoping to get some questions beforehand to make the sessions run more smoothly.
