1. No Data Collection
Note Capsule does not collect, store, or share any personal information from its users. All notes, summaries, and any other content you create within the app remains solely on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to us or any third party.
2. Offline-First Design
Note Capsule is designed to work entirely offline. No internet connection is required to create, edit, view, or delete your notes. Your data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to share or export it through your device's system sharing menu.
3. No Account Required
Note Capsule does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information such as your name or email address.
4. No Permissions Required (Unless User-Initiated)
Note Capsule does not request any special permissions by default. If you choose to export or share a note, the app may use your device's standard file picker or share dialog, which may require storage or system permissions. These actions are user-initiated and optional.
5. Summarization Feature
Note Capsule includes an AI-powered summarization feature that condenses your notes into shorter summaries.
My app uses: The summarization is performed entirely on your device. No note content is ever sent to any external server or cloud service. Your data remains completely private.
6. Third-Party Advertising
Note Capsule displays advertisements to support the free use of the app. These ads are provided by third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob). These networks may collect certain non-personal data to serve relevant ads, including:
Advertising ID (resettable by the user)
Device type and model
Operating system version
Approximate, non-precise location (based on IP address or network connection)
Important: Advertising networks do not have access to your notes or summaries, as that data never leaves your device (or only leaves temporarily during cloud summarization if you choose that option).

7. No Tracking or Analytics
Note Capsule does not use any analytics tools, tracking pixels, or crash reporting services that would allow us or anyone else to monitor your behavior, app usage, or device activity beyond the basic ad functionality described above.
8. Data Backup and Loss
Since Note Capsule does not use cloud storage or servers, if you uninstall the app or lose your device, your notes and summaries will be permanently deleted. You will not be able to recover them. Please keep this in mind. Some devices offer system-level backups (such as Google Drive Backup for Android) — if enabled, your note data may be included in that device-wide backup, but that is managed entirely by your device's operating system, not by Note Capsule.
9. Children's Privacy
Note Capsule does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Because no data is collected beyond standard ad serving, no special handling is required.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this policy changes for any reason, we will update the date at the top of this page. No further notification will be provided beyond that.
