Our Legacy

Our Legacy

Established in 1948, the Midwest Dance Association formerly known as Miami Valley Dance Teachers Association (MVDTA) has been a vital part of the dance community in Dayton, Ohio, for more than 75 years. We unite local dance educators, studios, and dancers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes the art of dance across Ohio and the Midwest region.

It all started when a group of teachers got together, worked together and tried to inspire eachother.

We hope to unite our dance community to share and grow our love of dance with eachother.
