Since April 2002, when I participated in the II Congresso Brasileiro de Medicina Complementar (II Brazilian Congress of Complementary Medicine), in São Paulo, Brazil, I started to study some methods of diagnosis and treatment of Complementary Medicine. At that time, I established the following reasoning: if Homeopathy already works so well in patients, imagine if we had the diagnostic and therapeutic arsenal of Complementary Medicine... Like, for example, Iridology, Bioresonance Examination, Radiesthesia, Bioelectrography (Photo Kirlian) , Acupuncture, Biomolecular Therapy (Orthomolecular), Chromotherapy, Bioresonance Therapy, among others ...

Since then, I have taken several courses in the field of Complementary Medicine. Undoubtedly, Iridology received more than special attention and was treated with a lot of dedication and affection. Participating in several Congresses and Symposia of Iridology since 2002, I consider to have taken a great leap in quality in this area by studying, between 2005 and 2006, the American School (Bernard Jensen) and the German School of Iridology, in addition to the Ray Id Method, through Courses taught by Dr. Celso Battello, one of the world's leading authorities on Iridology.

In September 2005, I started a volunteer work at the Liga Homeopática do RS, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where I also started to develop clinical research in Homeopathy, aimed at the treatment of chronic diseases and behavioral disorders in canine and feline. As I had recently purchased the device called Iridophoto (from Masterview Equipamentos Ópticos Ltda), which allows taking high quality photos of the iris for analysis and documentation, I started to document, whenever possible, the iris of the patients participating in the study.

Currently, I offer the lecture "Veterinary Iridology - Iridological Evaluationin Canine and Feline", which aims to present the conclusions of more than 15 years of my research work in Iridology in dogs and cats. Due to its questioning nature, where nonconformity and the relentless search for truth are striking characteristics, I started to seek the correlation of the signs found in the iris of my canine and feline patients, with their respective clinical and behavioral symptoms, in addition to correspondence with what is available in the literature and was presented in Iridology courses and congresses, since it is structured in the study of the iris of human beings.
