MVCAC's annual Legislative Day will take place on March 25 at the "swing space" between 10th and 11th Street. Like last year, agencies will schedule their meetings directly with legislators or staff. This is beneficial as legislators appreciate hearing directly from their constituents and it helps MVCDs build relationships with their representatives. If you are having trouble scheduling meetings, please contact MVCAC's Executive Director Megan MacNee at mmacnee@amgroup.us for assistance with scheduling.

Hotel information:  We will be holding the kick off and meeting portion at the Embassy Suites Sacramento.  Please click here to book your hotel room. (Rates are $257 plus taxes and parking)

*The hotel can be walking distance to the swing space but you may need to arrange transport.

Participating agencies are asked to keep their schedule as open as possible for this day. The process is as follows:

1. Lead Agency Signup: If you are an agency in the legislator's district, you can sign up as the lead agency. You will be responsible for scheduling the meeting and communicating with the legislator's staff. Please try to coordinate with other attending districts.

2. Attending Agency Signup: If the Lead Agency position is already filled in, please communicate with the designated person to participate in the meeting. 

Legislative Day Training:  We will review the materials and high-level information during breakfast on the morning of Leg Day (March 25) at the Embassy Suites Sacramento.
