About the Authors

Marisol studied Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at the University of California - Davis. She later obtained a Biology teaching credential from California State University - Sacramento, and cleared that credential at a high school in Northern California. (Photo by Sandra Escajadillo)

Stephen studied Environmental Science and Resource Management at the California State University - Channel Islands. When he is not photographing plants and landscapes he now works as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyst for Tejon Ranch Company.

Kathryn obtained her Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and soon thereafter started working as a USGS Researcher on Santa Rosa Island. She works with a variety of organizations as lead investigator for research on numerous rare plants on the island.
