This Privacy Policy explains how the "Mutual Friend Requests" Chrome extension ("the Extension") handles your data. We built this extension with a strict privacy-first, local-only approach.
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or monetize your personal data. To function, the Extension temporarily retrieves your pending Roblox friend requests, mutual friend counts, usernames, and avatar images directly from official Roblox APIs.
Local Storage Only: The results of your friend request scans are saved directly to your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to improve performance.
No External Servers: Your data never leaves your device. We do not use external backends, databases, cloud storage, or content delivery networks (CDNs).
Data Deletion: You can delete the cached scan data at any time by using the "Clear" function within the Extension, which permanently removes it from your browser's local storage.
The Extension does not track, read, log, store, or expose your cookies.
It does not require or request browser cookies permissions.
It does not have access to your .ROBLOSECURITY token or any other authentication cookies.
It securely uses your active Roblox browser session via standard, authenticated network requests to fetch your friend request data, exactly as your standard browser tab does.
We do not track you. The Extension contains zero analytics, zero telemetry, and zero remote tracking scripts. Your usage of the Extension is entirely private to you.
The Extension requests the minimum permissions necessary to operate. Specifically, it uses narrow host permissions strictly limited to the official Roblox API domains required to read your friend requests and display avatars:
friends.roblox.com
users.roblox.com
thumbnails.roblox.com
The Extension is strictly read-only. It cannot accept, decline, message, or otherwise modify your friend requests or your Roblox account.
If we make updates to this extension that change how data is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy. However, the core commitment to being a local, read-only, and backend-free tool will remain unchanged.
