Mutify Pro is developed by Teekam Suthar. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does on your device, what information it accesses or stores, and what third-party services are involved.
Mutify Pro is a paid/premium version of Mutify. Some features are unlocked through a purchase made through Google Play.
Mutify Pro does not have its own servers, does not have an account system, and does not send your music activity, listening history, or personal information to the developer or to any analytics service.
Information accessed by Mutify Pro is processed locally on your device. The app does not transmit this information to the developer.
The only network communication initiated by the app is associated with Google Play services and libraries used for purchases, in-app reviews, in-app updates, and related Google Play functionality. These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's privacy practices.
To perform its core functions, Mutify Pro accesses the following information locally on your device:
Using Android's Notification Listener permission, Mutify Pro reads notifications posted by supported music streaming apps, including:
Spotify
SoundCloud (with Mutify Premium)
Pandora (with Mutify Premium)
This information is used to detect when an advertisement is playing.
The Notification Listener permission is technically capable of accessing notifications from other apps on the device. However, Mutify Pro only inspects notifications from the supported music apps listed above.
Notification content is used solely for ad detection and is never stored, transmitted, or shared by Mutify Pro.
Mutify Pro accesses the currently playing media information provided by Android's media session for supported music apps.
This may include:
Track title
Artist
Album
Track duration
Playback state
Album artwork
This information is processed locally to improve advertisement detection and to display currently playing music in the app and its home-screen widget.
Mutify Pro optionally allows you to select a custom sound to play during detected advertisements.
If you enable this feature, you select an audio file using Android's system file picker. Mutify Pro retains access to the selected file so that it can play the sound when required.
The selected file is not uploaded to the developer or any external server.
Mutify Pro stores certain information in its own private app storage so that your preferences and app functionality can be preserved.
This may include:
Your app settings, such as enabled apps, theme, tips, auto-launch, notification preferences, ad-sound mode, and volume settings.
The last known track title and artist.
A cached album-art image used by the home-screen widget.
The system music volume from immediately before an advertisement was muted, so it can be restored.
The URI of the custom ad-sound file you selected, if applicable.
Your premium entitlement status.
This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to the developer's servers, because Mutify Pro does not operate its own servers for this purpose.
Local app data is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app, subject to Android's normal device and backup behavior.
Premium features are unlocked using Google Play Billing.
Your purchase is processed by Google Play. Mutify Pro does not receive or have access to your payment card information, payment credentials, or billing address.
Google may process information associated with your purchase in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Mutify Pro uses Google Play libraries and services for certain app functionality.
Used to sell and verify premium features and purchases.
Used to optionally display Google's in-app review prompt, allowing you to rate the app without leaving the app.
Used to check whether a newer version of Mutify Pro is available and to facilitate in-app updates.
Used to display the open-source licenses associated with certain Google Play components.
These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's privacy practices.

Apart from the Google Play services described above, Mutify Pro contains:
No analytics SDKs
No advertising SDKs
No crash-reporting services
No tracking services
No developer-operated backend or analytics server
Mutify Pro does not make network requests to collect or track your usage or music activity.
Mutify Pro contains links that may open external websites or applications, including:
Google Play Store
The developer's website
The Mutify Telegram channel
Don't Kill My App for battery-optimization assistance
An email link for contacting support
Once you follow a link or interact with an external service, that service's own privacy policy and terms may apply.
Mutify Pro is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites and services.
If you use the in-app contact option, Mutify Pro opens your installed email application with a pre-filled message.
The message may include basic technical information to help diagnose an issue, such as:
App version
Device model
Android version
Nothing is sent automatically. The information is only sent if you choose to send the email from your own email application.
Any information you voluntarily include in the email or attachments, such as screenshots, will be handled according to the email provider and the recipient's normal privacy practices.
Mutify Pro works by reacting to information that supported music apps publish on your device.
It does not:
Modify or patch supported music apps.
Interfere with the internal operation of supported music apps.
Remove advertisements from supported music services.
Access or control your music account.
Upload your listening history to the developer.
Instead, Mutify Pro detects advertisements based on information available on your device and temporarily adjusts the device's music volume while an advertisement is detected.
Depending on your settings, it may mute the audio completely or lower the volume and optionally play a sound of your choice. The previous volume is then restored.
Mutify Pro is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to the developer, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
Mutify Pro's locally stored app data can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
This includes locally stored settings, cached information, and other app data described in this Privacy Policy.
Purchase records associated with Google Play are maintained by Google and can be managed through your Google account and Google Play.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
If changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
