Muteen Munawar (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He completed his second master's degree in electrical and information engineering from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), South Korea, in 2023. He worked as a Research Assistant in the "Communications and Signal Processing Lab" at SeoulTech University from February 2021 until August 2023. Currently, he is working as a full-time Researcher at IMEC, Leuven, Belgium.
His research interests include wireless communications, Cellfree/cellular massive MIMO, dual-polarized intelligent reflecting surfaces, and applied machine learning. He received the "Best Project Award" at the IEEE Riphah Innovation Summit (IRIS) in 2019 and the "Excellent Research Award" at SeoulTech University in 2023.
He serves as a Reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Access, and IEEE Wireless Communication Letters.
