MuteCue is a simple utility app that reminds you to unmute your phone after silencing it. This Privacy Policy explains how MuteCue handles your information. The short version: MuteCue does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All app data stays on your device.
MuteCue does not collect:
Your name, email address, or any contact information
Your location or GPS data
Your phone number or device identifiers
Usage analytics or crash reports sent to any server
Microphone, camera, or media access
Contacts, calendar, or any other personal data from your device
MuteCue stores a small set of app preferences directly on your device using Android's DataStore. This includes:
Your chosen reminder duration
Notification sound preference
Trigger mode setting (manual or automatic)
Auto-start on boot preference
Whether you have purchased the premium upgrade
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, not accessible to us, and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app.
MuteCue requests the following Android permissions. Each is used solely to deliver the app's core functionality:

No permission is used to collect or transmit personal information.
MuteCue offers an optional one-time $0.99 premium upgrade processed entirely through Google Play Billing. MuteCue never sees, handles, or stores your payment information. All billing data is managed by Google under their own Privacy Policy. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
MuteCue does not integrate with any analytics platforms, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs other than Google Play Billing. No data is shared with any third party.
MuteCue does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.
Because MuteCue does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk of a breach. All app preferences stored locally on your device are protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. Since MuteCue collects no personal data, meaningful changes to this policy are unlikely. Any material change will be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
