I am currently working as a staff research scientist at IBM Research, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before that, I was a research associate at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) located in Abu Dhabi, UAE with Prof. Fahad Khan and Hisham Cholakkal at the Intelligent Visual Analytics Lab. Before joining MBZUAI, I gained valuable experience working in the IT industry.

I received my Ph.D. from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea in 2021, where I contributed as a researcher in the Virtual Reality laboratory, supervised by Prof. Soon Ki Jung. Prior to that, I pursued my Master's degree from Sejong University in 2016, supervised by Prof. Sung Wook Baik. I earned my undergraduate degree from the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Science in 2011, providing me with a strong foundation in my field of study.

Interests:

I am actively involved in research focused on diverse areas of computer vision and deep learning, particularly in the fields of remote sensing, medical image segmentation, and person search.
