The reply given to all questions asked during the meeting, about whether or not there is going to be physical builds and competitions, was simply just a "no".
Research was then done as a club on different ideas considering what we can potentially work on. Some ideas were taking part in VEX Online Challenges, which became our main focus, and starting the Mustang Robotics Alumni Symposium Series.
We imagine this to be a series in which Mustang alumni who have graduated for three or more years share their college and post-college experience through a virtual platform. We also imagine expanding our audience in the hope to benefit students from different districts, states, and countries.
Questions were asked on what virtual platform should be used to be the basis of our presentations. The options suggested by the club were:
Twitch
Zoom
Google Meet
YouTube Live
Discord
Additional research was needed for further decisions on what platform to use.

A table of comparing the pros and cons of the different platforms.
Based on the pros highlighted, as a club, we decided to utilize
Twitch as the main platform for streaming
Zoom as the platform where the media team, alumni, and the interviewer have interactions,
YouTube as the medium to post the video in case people miss out on the live steam.
We will stream the zoom interaction onto twitch using an application called Streamlabs OBS.
After deciding on which platform to use, as of now, we were able to break out into two groups to get the project running. The two groups are the following:
Media Group: This group would create the layout and additional factors that are needed for the stream.
Visual Group: This group would create the intro, outro, and the layout for the stream.
Interviewer: Chad Pearson

Make sure everyone is doing their part for the Pilot Episode on Wednesday, 09/09/20.
Mustang graduate, LeAnn Mendoza, joined the call unexpectedly. We decided to get a feeling of what the alumni presentation would feel like and determine if this was a good idea.
It was not an official stream on twitch
Test run on what an alumni presentation is like through Google Meet
It was an interview-type of conversation between LeAnn and our mentor, Mr. Chad Pearson. She shared with us her experiences with college: the club she was in, the student government position she took, etc. She elaborated by talking about her current Project Management Assistant (Data Scientist) at University of California San Diego as well as advice she had for people applying for UCSD.
After LeAnn's presentation, we come together as a group to evaluate whether or not the alumni presentation idea was worth a try. There were only benefits from doing the symposium as listed below.
This ensure us that the idea was beneficial for the people both in and outside of our community during this time.

We made sure we gathered all the slides we needed for creating the pilot episode for Friday, 09/09/20.
We had a run through on twitch with the slides and clips.
The platform, google slides, was also used in our project for transition of pictures and creating scenes to introduce Mr. Chad Pearson along with the Alumni.
Pilot Episode Intro Clip
Scene Introducing Alexa Gil
(there are transitions on the slide for the picture)
Scene Introducing Mr. Chad Pearson
(his live zoom screen will be projected on the side)
Pilot Episode Outro Clip

After our very first time streaming a zoom call on twitch, we came across several issues and areas that needed improvement.
The laptop we are currently using can't handle running all the programs necessary to host the stream at once
Time is needed for the live stream to load before starting to stream (given about 15-30 minutes)
Better layout is needed
Better directions are needed
signals for when to talk
We can have a picture wall at the beginning of the episode, showing the history of Mustang Robotics.
In which one of our member, Jacob Ursua, requested and recommended to use his computer to be the main device for running the programs. As it is believed that his computer will run better than Sofia's laptop.

After the pilot episode, we reached out to our club for help to improve on our presentation. We also asked for feedback in order to make our official first episode better.
We were approached by some people who volunteered to help with the wallpaper idea for the intro and the creation of the layout.
We decided to switch from the interactions on zoom to google meet since zoom is an application and google meet is only a website, we think it might prevent the lag as we switch to google meet.
Added to the intro and outro as our signature starting point and ending point
Introduction slide for the alumni speaker
New layout for the interview
Robotics Picture Wall, added to the intro of the episode
Added a special thanks section for the alumni that advised with making our presentation better
This is the welcome page with a timer (15-30 minutes long). This is what the audience will see before the stream officially begins which allows the audience to settle in as well as allow the media team to get prepared.

Had questions beforehand(which gives time for the live chat to type questions)
Paige and Daniel were able to provide their insight after watching episode 2. They gave advice on things that we could add to the presentation to provide more interaction between the audience and the cast.
Include link in chat relating to the topic
Create a Mustang Robotics picture collage slide instead of putting them all on one slide
Add this before the presentation
More interesting to view than the welcome page
Included information about next presentation and past presentation
Mention YouTube channel
Create a flyer for the next presentation
Incorrupt the question section within the interview to have more interaction

We had a meeting discussing the information mentioned in the event partner meeting. We see that it is clear California public schools will not have any robotics competitions during the 2020-2021 season. Also, we discussed the changes regarding judging and the rules.
We can now expand our audience
Create a Google Form to gather the audiences' information(team name, team #, and school)
The Google Form will also include a section where the audience can put questions they have before-hand
