Coach Chris Braketa
Coach Braketa is going into 8th year as the varsity head coach at Ralston Valley HS. Ralston Valley has won 2 of the last 4 Jeffco League Titles. He coached at Ralston Valley HS previously from from 2002-2009. He was a member of the 2003 State Champions coaching staff. Coach Braketa has been coaching summer high school teams, youth teams as well as working basketball camps and working with kids with strength and conditioning since 2003. He graduated from Pomona HS and received a basketball scholarship to South Dakota School of Mines. He then graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to get a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University so he could become a teacher and work with kids.

Coach Jay Young
Coach Young is entering his 8th year as head JV coach. He graduated from D'Evelyn High School where he played basketball all four years and helped lead the team to a state championship his senior year as well as a third place finish in State his junior year. Growing with a great group of friends throughout the years and finishing with a state title made him realize the impact of hard work and effort. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life and has since worked to pass those lessons learned down to his players as a coach. Coach Young started coaching basketball right out of high school, making this his 18th season as a coach. He graduated from CSU with a major in Business Finance. He received his Master's Degree from Regis University in Education. He currently teaches Geometry and Honors Geometry at Ralston Valley. His wife, Stacy, also teaches math at Ralston Valley. They have 2 daughters, McKinley (5) and Monroe (3).
