I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Texas State University under the supervision of Dr. Mylene Farias. I aspire to be a research scientist who can instinctively envisage a variety of possible outcomes and then identify hidden patterns among them that may be used to advance current systems. As a computer science major, I always look for innovative solutions that are computationally efficient and integrate technology to maximize its potential. My mind was then profoundly infused with the idea of employing Machine learning/Deep Learning algorithms for the analysis of Medical Imaging to assist doctors where any slip-up could prove terminal to the hopes of living. The powers of Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms and the use of such algorithms to build intelligent systems made me passionate about pursuing career goals in this field.
