How do ascertain the prayer & fasting times?

We are using the following two popular APIs,

• Google Maps

Which method are you using to calculate prayer times?

While there are a number of methods to calculate prayers times, we've taken Muslim World League (MWL) as default. That said, for a more accurate experience on prayer and fasting times, we are also using other methods for some of countries as listed below.

What is the source of the Islamic dates within the app?

The key Islamic dates have been sourced from Aladhan. Note that the exact date and times can vary from region to region.

Which of the four (Sunni) schools of Islamic jurisprudence do you refer to here?

Here we are referring to the Shafi school of Islamic jurisprudence.

Can the app recite Adhaan on my device(s) at the respective times of prayer?

Unfortunately, owing to present technology limitations of the Google Assistant, the app cannot do that at this point of time.

Can the app say "Salaam" better? It sounds like "Shalom" :)

We genuinely played a lot with the phonetics in the test simulator (e.g. Fajr is actually Fudger for best pronunciation!). Unfortunately, this is as good as it gets while using English.
