Muskego Horseshoe Club Shines at 38th Annual Moose International Horseshoe Tournament
West Bend, WI | July 11–13, 2025

The 38th Annual Moose International Horseshoe Tournament was held in West Bend, Wisconsin, and what a weekend it was! From July 11–13, players from seven different states came together for three action-packed days of competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.

Representing the Muskego Moose Lodge with pride were ten pitchers from our Monday Night Horseshoe league.  They delivered outstanding performances. Together, they brought home an impressive five 1st place finishes, four 2nd place finishes, four 3rd place finishes, and even snagged a 4th and 5th place—a remarkable achievement on such a big stage!

Adding even more excitement to the weekend was the “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition match—the final event of the tournament. Penny and Rich were featured and received cheers from the crowd during this showdown. In a tightly contested game, it was Penny who pulled out the victory and bragging rights!

The tournament wasn’t just about pitching ringers—it was a full-on summer celebration. Spectators and players enjoyed perfect weather with just a touch of rain, while indulging in food and drink specials, live music, raffles baskets, 50/50 drawings, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.

Whether on the courts or enjoying the festivities, the energy was high, and the good times were flowing. Congratulations to all the Muskego Moose Horseshoe pitchers and everyone who helped make this year’s tournament one to remember!

Check Out the New Courts!

We're excited to share the amazing updates to our club! All the stakes have been replaced, and full cement walkways have been added, giving the courts a fresh, professional look. These improvements—completed in fall 2024 and spring 2025—along with our brand-new clubhouse for storing supplies and posting results, have truly transformed our space. It feels like a whole new club!
