Kelly is originally from the beautiful, historic Saratoga Springs, New York. She is an active music teacher and a freelance musician residing in the rolling hills of Central, New York. She is an experienced, New York State certified K-12 music teacher and has enjoyed teaching students of varying ages and stages. Kelly absolutely loves being a music educator. 

Kelly holds a Masters in Music Education from SUNY Buffalo State and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College with an emphasis in vocal, general music. Her main focus is vocal music, however, she actively plays and teaches piano, flute, recorder, and ukulele as well.

Kelly is a versatile musician with a background in classical, jazz, musical theater, and new age music. Her musical journey began in the fourth grade when she joined the elementary choir and played flute in the symphonic band. After taking four years of private flute instruction from the very talented Margaret LaFrance, she took a strong interest in vocal music. Her training came from many versatile teachers including two years of training with Holly McCormack, three years with Patrice Pastore at Ithaca College, and intermittent coaching sessions with the world famous jazz vocalist, Kim Nazarian.

When she is not making music, Kelly can be found hiking in the woods, harvesting vegetables from her garden, or dancing to tunes in the kitchen.
