This page is dedicated to musicians hailing from Canada, with a sound that most people wouldn't consider Canadian! In the case of most of the musicians below, it is clear to hear where their influences came from. Perhaps these musicians grew up with a culture or background very different from the other three categories that I have on this website, but that doesn't make them any less Canadian! The more diversity that can found in music, the more interesting it is! It also becomes more likely that you will discover an artist or performer or sound that you didn't know you liked, or have never come across yet.
