About MSS

We are a group of parents, faculty members, and community members that support the activities and functions of the Middletown High School South Music department (including the Marching Band, Instrumental Bands and Choirs) to build and maintain an organization of families, guardians and faculty who help to promote the general activities of the organization through volunteer and fundraising activities.

Examples of support include:

helping to organize and chaperone events; conducting fundraising to support band camp, provide thank-you gifts for seniors, give scholarships (to MSS Seniors), supplement equipment, cover competition fees and tickets, and subsidizing miscellaneous student needs, such as band shirts and trip costs.

We urge all our families to become members of Music Sponsors South for a fee of $25.00 per year per family.

Your membership fee helps to get each year started.

Membership in the organization shall be open to all families who have students participating in the Music Department of MHSS.

Membership Year of MSS is July 1 - June 30. Dues shall be due and payable by October 31.
