Music Player is an offline audio playback application.

- No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or sell any of your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location.

- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, register, or log in to use this application.

- Offline First: All playlists, favorites, song statistics, and settings are stored locally on your device.

2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS & WHY WE NEED THEM

To provide full music playback functionality, the app requests the following permissions:

1. Read Audio / Storage (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):

   Required strictly to scan, load, and play audio files (MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, etc.) stored on your device storage. We do not access your photos, videos, or unrelated files.

2. Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK):

   Required to keep audio playing smoothly in the background when the app is minimized or the screen is locked.

3. Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):

   Required on Android 13+ to display the playback control notification (Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Seekbar, Album Art).

4. Bluetooth Connection (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT):

   Used to route audio properly when connecting or disconnecting Bluetooth headphones, car audio, or speakers.

5. Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK):

   Prevents the device CPU from sleeping during playback so music does not stop unexpectedly.

6. Modify Audio Settings (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS):

   Allows volume and audio focus handling when calls or notifications arrive.

3. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

All data created inside the app (playlists, favorite songs, equalizer presets, playback history) is stored strictly on your local device. 

- This data never leaves your device.

- We do not have access to your files or settings.

- Clearing app data or uninstalling the app will remove these local preferences.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ANALYTICS

Music Player is designed to work completely offline. 

- We do not use third-party analytics or user tracking tools.

- If you use the "Share" feature, standard operating system sharing is used.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)

Our app does not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13 years of age. The application is completely safe for users of all ages.
