Open the Music App on iPhone, or other music apps on Android phones, select your playlist, play the music. Then open the Musicontrol. Now you can click the upper right screen for next songs, the upper left screen for the previous song. You may still control the volume through the volume side buttons. Long-press the screen for pause and resume playing.
Prefer swipe or slide? Close the app. Long-press the App icon and go to the Settings. Turn the “Swipe controls” on. As mentioned, open the Music app and then open the Musicontrol. Swipe right to play the next song; swipe left the play the previous song; slide up to increase the volume; slide down to decrease the volume. Similarly, long-press the upper half screen to pause and resume playing. You can turn the both option (Tap control and Swipe controls) on.
