How It Works: 

High School Musicians Gather Together:

Any high school musician can join. Together, we form a large orchestral group with many different instruments and musicians at different levels. We'll learn different music together as a large group, in duos, and many more. We'll learn songs together and host a mini concert for other people!

1. We Heal Ourselves:

In order to heal the world, we need to heal ourselves. As a group and organization, we'll help each other learn how to express our emotions and feelings through music. Each musician will be given the natural opportunity to express their emotions through music in a safe place. In the end, MHTW wishes for each and every musician to learn to not only turn to music when they are experiencing contention or conflict but when they are happy and content. 

2. We Heal Each Other: 

We are all different and live very different lives. We are all different people and come from many different backgrounds. However, we all have one thing in common. We are musicians. Through music and our love for playing instruments, we can learn to create friendships with other musicians. Eventually, we heal those around us within our organization. 

3. We Heal Those Around Us: 

Our very own families, neighborhoods, schools, and communities, can have feelings of contention and malicious intent. No matter how much hate there is around us locally, we can help overcome the hate with love and compassion through music. By sharing our talents, we can help bring our communities together. We can help bring smiles and love to each and individual person. Music can help heal our communities and those around us who are suffering. 

4. We Heal The World: 

Our lives don't stop in our own local communities. After high school, some of us will go to explore a new world. Some of us will be hours away from home and for others, it will only be minutes. But wherever we go, we can help change those around us through music. We can influence others to express their feelings in the form of music. We can also personally turn to music to relieve our pain and stress. Music Heals The World envisions a world where we can spread out into a new world and touch the hearts of those around us no matter where we are, eventually spreading music all around the world. We hope to help heal the world one musician and note at a time.
