Andre' Adman’s picture book story, Ooster’s Night Song, is a charming tale told in rhyming verse. The story introduces the young reader to the importance of everyone’s job and that we all make mistakes sometimes, but when we ask for forgiveness and it’s freely given, then we must stand tall and continue on with our own unique and important job. That’s how the world turns. Aatoo explains it very carefully: “We all make mistakes, it’s a part of learning. And as we learn from each mistake – it keeps the wheel of life turning.” A lovely story about responsibilities, learning from our mistakes and forgiveness.
