Rondo comes from the San Siro district of Milan, an area full of different cultures and street influences. This environment shaped his personality and his music. He didn’t try to copy traditional Italian rap instead, he was inspired by UK drill, a dark and aggressive genre with fast flows and heavy bass.
Rondo became famous almost overnight. When he released “Face to Face”, Italian social media exploded. People had never seen an Italian rapper with such an international sound. After that, he released hits like “Slatt,” “Movie,” “Dubai,” and “Scooteroni,” making him one of the most recognized young artists in Italy.
Rondo’s music crossed borders. He collaborated with French and British rappers, something very rare for Italians. Foreign fans liked him because his music didn’t sound Italian it sounded like global drill.
His strong voice, aggressive attitude, and fast flow make him unique. He represents the raw side of Italian street culture but also mixes it with global influences. His image (bandanas, all-black outfits, street visuals) became part of his brand.
