Golden Music and Alec Powell, a music teacher new to Kent Denver’s Middle School this year, started every 7th and 8th grader who is in Music 1 or 2 on a traditional band instrument to play in class. Golden Music hosted an instrument “petting zoo”.
We are thrilled to share the remarkable success of the string program initiated at Mountainsong School! Our goal was to provide an accessible and inspiring introduction to string instruments for their students, and the results have exceeded our expectations.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2025: This Fall, Music Educates, supported by Golden Music, started a band program at Agate School. This one building, K-12 school has no music program at all. Music Educates hired a teacher, Hudson Adams, to guide them every step of the way.

This Fall, Music Educates embarked on a daring mission to bring the magic of music to the Shrine of St. Anne's School. This K-8 institution, previously devoid of any band program, is now buzzing with excitement as students prepare to unleash their musical talents. St Annes, is a prestigious private school nestled in the heart of old town Arvada.
The school needed Music Educates to design and operate all facets of the program--a complete turn key band! Zach Robarge, hired by Music Educates, is creating an environment of learning including learning the proper way to play and practice wind instruments, how to read sheet music, all about the joys of performing and the importance of teamwork when playing in an ensemble.
