About Me

Hi! I'm Ms. Dyl, the music teacher at Bergen Elementary! I've spent my whole life in Colorado, where I was born and raised. My passion for music started young in elementary school where I started piano and voice lessons in the hopes of becoming an amazing popstar. While that may not have happened, I found something I find far more enjoyable: teaching and performing music with others! I continued to do music throughout middle and high school by participating in voice lessons, choirs, and the musicals at my school. 

I attended the University of Northern Colorado and received a BA in Music Education with a focus on Voice, Piano, and General Music. This provided me with many performance opportunities, including performing Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall with the UNC Choirs and UNC Alumni Choir in May 2023! Bergen Elementary is the first school I have the pleasure to teach at after graduating and I love it here!

Some of my favorite things to do include spending time with my pets, seeing my friends and family, playing video games, and most importantly singing! I am also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Nintendo, Disney, Lego, DC, and Marvel!
