Short Bio

Mushu Li obtained PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen in 2021. She was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2021 to 2022. Starting from June 2022, she is an NSERC post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Her research interests include system optimization in vehicular networks, machine learning in wireless networks, and resource management for next-generation wireless networks. She has received many awards, including the prominent NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) Award (2022), NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship (2018-2021),  University Finalist for the Alumni Gold Medal, Ontario Graduate Scholarships in 2015 and 2016, etc. At present, she has published over 20 technical papers in IEEE Transactions, including IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking.  She has served as an associate editor in Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications journal since 2023.
