Terms of Service for Mushroom Identifier: MushScan

Welcome to MushScan (“the App”), (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using MushScan.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use or access the App.
MushScan allows users to identify mushrooms by taking or uploading photos and provides related educational content. Additional premium features are available through subscription plans.
MushScan offers auto-renewable subscriptions through your device’s app store account:
MushScan Weekly: $5.99 per week
MushScan Monthly: $9.99 per month
MushScan Yearly: $24.99 per year
a. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
b. Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings.
c. Charges: Your payment method will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.
d. Refunds: Subscription payments are handled by Apple or Google. We do not issue refunds directly; please contact your app store provider for refund requests.
You agree to use MushScan only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
Misuse or interfere with the App’s operation
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
Upload offensive, harmful, or infringing content
Use the App to promote illegal or unsafe activities (e.g., consumption of unidentified mushrooms)
MushScan provides identification results using AI and data models, but we do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
Always exercise caution and do not consume or handle mushrooms based solely on app results.
Use the App for educational and informational purposes only.
We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage arising from reliance on the App’s content.
All text, graphics, images, and software in MushScan are owned or licensed by us and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App’s integrity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use MushScan.
We may update or discontinue features of MushScan at any time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify users via the App or other communication channels.
