Md Mushfiqur Rahaman is a researcher and engineer specializing in data science, edge computing, and industrial automation. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from CUET and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Applied Mathematics at West Virginia University (WVU).
With extensive experience in automation and AI, Mushfiqur worked as a Manager of Electrical and Automation at Unilever Bangladesh, leading Industry 4.0 initiatives, including SCADA integration, predictive maintenance, and digital factory implementation. Previously, he held key roles at Nestlé Bangladesh and Unipolar Automation Technologies, working on process control and industrial AI applications.
His research at WVU focuses on post-training quantization of neural networks for efficient AI deployment on edge devices. He explores low-bit precision LSTMs, calibration techniques, and noise performance optimization. Proficient in machine learning (PyTorch, Brevitas), cloud computing (Azure, Kubernetes), and embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, PLC, SCADA), he aims to develop scalable AI solutions for real-world applications.
Mushfiqur has published in IEEE conferences and delivered keynote talks on AI and industrial automation. His goal is to bridge AI and embedded systems, driving innovation in intelligent edge computing.
