Echoes of Time: Museum of Possibilities
Merging Passive and Active Design for an Energy-Efficient, Climate-Conscious Museum in Kota Tinggi
In Kota Tinggi, while local residents have adapted to recurring flooding, there is still limited awareness and understanding of the broader impacts of climate change. Rising water levels, extreme rainfall and shifting weather patterns pose increasing threats to losing identity of Kota Tinggi, which has been known as heritage town and rich of natural landscape. Therefore, the aim of this project is to propose a museum with an immersive architectural journey that educates, inspires and empowers the public in Kota Tinggi to understand the impacts of climate change and envision possible futures through utopian and dystopian lenses. In conclusion, this museum would become a living narrative, connecting humanity with the past, present and future of our changing climate. This museum is not only a place of reflection but also a call to action - a beacon of both hope and warning.

Manifesto Representing Dystopian & Utopian Future
In recent days, we've been feeling the effects of climate change and environmental degradation even in Kota Tinggi. Rising temperatures, flooding, and extreme weather events are signals that the future we feared is already here. According to experts, such extreme weather events are only going to worsen over time. Once the effects of climate change fully unfold, reversing them becomes impossible. This is because we are standing at the threshold of tomorrow, unable to turn back the clock. Therefore, people need to do something to lessen the effects of climate change. Would you rather ignore the climate change issue, then Kota Tinggi would become a damage city ? Or would you rather start to take action on the climate change, so Kota Tinggi would become a better city? One small action can lead to bigger impacts.
