The motion of atmosphere/ocean is based on fluid dynamics which consist of several equations to describe the characteristics of flows in our real world. Numerical modeling allows us to understand how these flows evolve with time by solving equation sets with advanced computational abilities. Here demonstrates some numerical simulations of geophysical flows and codes are provide for those who are interested.
