PURPOSE

Providing teachers and students with access to progressive state-of-the-art  technology and software to further the educational goals of the District;  

Supporting, conducting, and sustaining programs in the performing, visual, and creative arts within the District to benefit students of the District;  

Providing curriculum support for teachers within the District by providing classroom grants to ensure educators have sufficient equipment and supplies for their educational curriculum; 

Supporting and operating programs that promote the healthy physical, mental, and  emotional development and well-being of students attending the District;  

Providing support for intramural and other athletic programs within the District;  

Recognizing and honoring outstanding educational stakeholders within the  District for the quality of their teaching, their professional leadership, their engagement with  families and the community, and their contributions to the healthy development of students  within the District;  

Supporting, conducting, and sustaining tutoring and after-school programs for at risk students within the District;  

Raising funds and providing scholarships to assist students and former students of the District to enable them to attend summer educational enrichment programs and/or to pursue post-secondary education;  

Supporting and operating programs to ensure that at-risk or underprivileged children attending the District have adequate clothing, athletic apparel, hygiene items, and school supplies to improve and promote their educational experience, improve attendance, enhance their learning environment, and otherwise further their educational and physical well-being; and

Supporting, conducting, and sustaining programs in alignment with district initiatives.
