Hello!
I am Musale Krushna Pavan, a FARE (Fellowship for Academic and Research Excellence) Fellow and Ph.D. researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where I work under the supervision of Dr. Hamim Zafar. I was also a recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) scholarship.
My research lies at the intersection of computational biology and machine learning, with a primary focus on single-cell genomics. I develop computational methods for single-cell lineage reconstruction, cell differentiation map, omics data integration, and analysis. My goal is to build scalable and interpretable algorithms that help uncover the mechanisms governing cell fate and advance our understanding of complex biological systems.
