Grading Philosophy
You can pass my class with a D if you try. You can generally get an A or a B if you try a little harder. I do not believe my job is to fail you, I believe my job is to persuade you this stuff is interesting, which results in you easily earning a high grade. If you turn something in, you will at least get half credit, even if it's terrible. You will only get a zero if you do not turn something in. Turn in all the things.
